IT Services Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Services Manager to join our dynamic team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This critical leadership role involves overseeing and performing key IT functions and operations to ensure excellent service delivery to our clients. The IT Services Manager will report directly to the President and the General Manager, providing company-wide direction in all areas related to client IT services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead daily operations for client Managed IT Services, ensuring service level obligations are met.

  • Act as a liaison between client stakeholders and internal technical teams to drive account development and operational improvements.

  • Oversee and mentor technical staff, ensuring timely and effective support for client needs.

  • Develop and manage projects, including strategies, implementation plans, and budgets.

  • Maintain and grow client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and service delivery excellence.

  • Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of technical solutions to meet client needs.

  • Collaborate with vendors and partners for continued service delivery excellence.

  • Conduct site surveys and develop requirements documentation for customer needs.

  • Function as the technical project manager for technology projects.

  • Provide on-call support for managed IT service clients, including emergency support.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent level of education and experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT service management or a related role.

  • Proven leadership and team management skills.

  • Strong understanding of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) is highly desirable.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are a plus.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, push, pull, lift, use fingers, grasp, feel, shovel, and perform repetitive motions with hands and/or wrists.

  • Ability to exert up to 60 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force to regularly move objects.

  • Minimum mental and visual attention required for performing highly routine, simple work such as cleaning, using hand-held tools, and operating simple controls.

 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Regular, physical, on-site attendance is required at both company and client sites.  Some regional travel is required, including one or two night hotel stays.  Out of state travel is rare but may be required from time to time.

COMPENSATION - $75,000 to $85,000 yearly base salary. Plus, commission/bonus

​
