JOB DESCRIPTION

Sales professionals will be expected to understand our technical offerings and translate them into meaningful ideas that our clients can understand.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Expected to understand technical products and services including IT infrastructure, Cloud Services, and Audio and Video technologies.

  • Prospect potential clients via various methods including onsite visits, phone calls, social media, and e-mail.

  • Responsible for Communicating new product developments to prospective clients as well as development and delivery of product demonstrations.

  • Responsible for representing our products and services to customers at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.

  • Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs

  • Able to convey customer requirements to IT and A/V technical teams

  • Able to travel throughout sales territory. (Northeastern US)
     

QUALIFICATIONS

Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with proven knowledge of technology. A background in a technical field like IT, Audio, Video or the web including education and experience is very helpful. Must be comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally both in person as well as in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports. Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches. 2-3+ years relevant experience in vendor sales also preferred.

SALARY RANGE - $40,000 to $50,000 yearly. Plus, commission/bonus
